About Loree Y. Williams
A Lifelong Resident of Woodbridge, VA
Loree Williams has lived in Woodbridge, Virginia for over 30 years. Her family is based in the area and
she has strong ties to the community here. She is a 1995 graduate of Woodbridge High
School. She is familiar with how the schools work and realizes the important role the school board plays in the
education of our children.
A most important credential for Loree is that of being a "Mom." She understands the issues that impact young
mothers, especially those who are employed outside the home. While she will be an advocate for all, she feels a
special connection with families of school-age children.
A Mother of Two Young Sons
Loree and her husband, William, have two sons. Their son, Lei, entered 7th grade at Rippon Middle
School this school year and their newborn son, William, is expected to attend Prince William County schools in the

In 2004, Loree graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. degree in Intergrative
Studies, with a specialization in Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping. She is one of only 20
in the nation who achieved this degree. Her background makes her well suited for
negotiation and compromise, and she will bring a fresh approach and open mind as a school board
Policy development is a key responsibility of school boards in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Loree has extensive
experience in this area in her professional position as an Executive Administrator for a Washington, DC-based
investment firm. As the school board representative from the Woodbridge District, she can help bring about the
"World Class" preparation our students require to compete in today’s society and global economy. The students in
our Prince William County school system deserve no less.
